Tonight Jackie and I went to a reading of a new play "The Women of Lockerbie"
by Deborah Baley Brevoort
It is a wonderfully writing, dramatic, and emotional play about the women in Lockerbie
who refused to let the clothing of the victums be destroyed. That would be enough of a play
in itself, but Deborah goes on to show us a lot more about this terrible tragedy.
And then she shows us how different people react to a tragedy of this magnitude, and how, in our sorrow, we often go on to blame each other, and learn to hate.
Deborah, thank you so much for doing this. It needed to be done. None of us should ever forget!
